How to Fish It

• Simply slow roll it just under the surface - the wooden cavity pushes water and sends a strong vibration trail that pike home in on.

• Add short pauses to let the lure flutter and re-stabilise; many strikes happen as the bait restarts.

• Retrieve over weedbeds, flooded grass, or shallow bays where big pike hunt but conventional lures snag.

• Works great in low light, spring shallows, and warm summer water when pike are up high.

Recommended Rigging

• Pair with:

  • Rapala Soft Otus for a tighter, more finesse-style action

• Use a light wire or fluorocarbon leader (30–50 lb) to maintain natural action and reduce drag.
