What is the UK JDM Fishing Club?
It's a Facebook Group for anglers across the UK who share an interest in Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) fishing tackle - the lures, rods, reels and colourways that are often difficult to find outside Japan.
The community is open to anyone: people already fishing with JDM tackle, anglers who've never tried it but are curious, long-time collectors who know the catalogues inside out, and complete beginners who just want to learn without feeling judged. There's no entry requirement and no expectation that you already know the brands.

Why LURESET created the community
We'll be upfront about this. LURESET set up the UK JDM Fishing Club because we want to understand UK anglers' interest in Japanese tackle better than a sales page ever could. Specifically, we want to:
- Understand what UK JDM anglers are actually using.
- Learn which brands and products are hardest to find in the UK.
- Understand the colourways and techniques anglers prefer.
- Get direct, honest feedback from people who fish this tackle.
- Make better-informed decisions about which Japanese products to import next.
That's the extent of it. The community isn't a sales channel, and the group isn't a place we post offers or promotions. It's a place to talk fishing - what we learn from that is a side benefit, not the point of the group.
