Best Techniques

The CRANKURI is exceptionally easy to fish – cast it out and retrieve it steadily to activate its fast, tight wobble. Its stability makes it particularly effective in flowing water, where it can be worked across current, downstream or through faster runs without easily losing its action.

Try retrieving it around submerged rocks, far-bank structure and current seams where chub and perch are waiting to intercept prey. When the lure contacts structure, pause briefly and allow its slow-floating buoyancy to lift it before continuing the retrieve.

It can also be worked faster when searching for active fish, with the tight wobble and internal brass rattle providing plenty of vibration and sound despite its compact size.
