A relative species to the Peto and Otus, the Soft Olio builds on the well-proven side-to-side rolling action – and adds in the irresistible display of the curly twin tails. Designed for targeting large predators in various situations, the soft bait maintains its action in slow retrieves and can be rigged for optimal presentation. When paused, the split tail flutters enticingly as the lure slowly swims into the depths. Thanks to the soft plastic construction the Soft Olio’s textured body provides increased vibrations in the water.

How to Fish It
Retrieve slow and steady to let the body roll and tail do the work, or add pauses to trigger pike - the Soft Otus naturally glides and sinks on the stop. It can be slow-rolled along weed edges, counted down and worked mid-water, or bumped close to the bottom in colder conditions.
Recommended Rigging
Rig with a shallow screw rig and stinger trebles for shallow water or over weeds. For deeper presentations, pair it with a shallow screw + chin weight or a weighted jig hook sized 6/0–8/0 depending on the depth and current. Use strong, sharp trebles (e.g., size 1/0–2/0) on your stingers to ensure solid hook-ups on big predators.
