Best Techniques

Steady Retrieve: The paddle tail produces a consistent swimming action during a steady retrieve, making it effective for searching open water and fishing along weed edges.

Slow Rolling: Retrieve the lure slowly to maintain a natural swimming action. Particularly useful when targeting less active pike in colder water.

Stop-and-Go: Alternate short retrieves with pauses, allowing the sinking lure to change depth and imitate a vulnerable baitfish.

Fishing Different Depths: The sinking design allows anglers to count the lure down before retrieving, helping target pike holding at different depths.
