Westin W3 Dropshot 3rd Generation

Westin W3 Dropshot 3rd Generation – Precision Dropshot Rod for Finesse Predators

The Westin W3 Dropshot 3rd Generation is a specialist rod designed for anglers who demand maximum sensitivity and control when fishing the dropshot rig. Built on a lightweight and responsive Torayca® high-performance carbon blank, it delivers direct contact with your weight and soft lure, making it easy to feel every bottom change and the lightest of takes.

This extremely light two-piece rod features a super-soft tip for improved bite detection and finesse presentation, while still offering the backbone needed for confident hook-sets and to control larger fish. Ideal for fishing with light to medium dropshot weights, it’s perfectly suited to bank fishing, boat fishing, and belly boat fishing.

With a powerful mid-section and butt, the W3 Dropshot has enough strength to set hooks at distance in rivers and lakes, even when using ultra-thin lines and light end tackle.
