Westin W4 C-SW Reel

The Westin W4 C-SW is a heavy-duty saltwater spinning reel developed for demanding inshore and nearshore lure fishing. Designed to handle hard-fighting predators and harsh marine conditions, it combines a rigid aluminium body, sealed components and powerful gearing to provide smooth, dependable performance when fishing from shore or boat.

At the heart of the W4 C-SW is a CNC-machined hard brass main gear supported by 5+1 sealed stainless steel bearings. A sealed Carbon Matrix drag provides smooth, controlled pressure during hard fights, while 14 seals and an IPX5 rating provide additional protection against water intrusion when fishing in challenging saltwater environments.

Body & Rotor Construction

• 3000: Aluminium body with graphite rotor
• 4000: Aluminium body with graphite rotor
• 5000: Aluminium body with aluminium rotor

The rigid body construction helps minimise flex when the reel is under heavy load, keeping the gearing properly aligned for smoother power transfer and improved durability. The 5000 size adds an aluminium rotor for an even more robust setup when additional strength is required.
