How to Fish It

Fish it on a steady retrieve to let the tight body roll and flashing belly do the work. The 10 cm is ideal for mid-water zander and perch-style pike tactics; the 14–18 cm sizes excel when slow-rolling close to the bottom or stopping and starting to trigger big pike. It kicks into action instantly, so it’s perfect for both casting and vertical jigging.

Recommended Rigging

• 10 cm (14 g): Rig on a jighead 4/0–5/0 for casting and bouncing along the bottom.

• 14 cm (42 g): Works well on a 6/0–8/0 jighead or a shallow screw + stinger for slower presentations.

• 18 cm (85 g): Best on a shallow screw rig with 1–2 stinger trebles (1/0–2/0). Add a chin weight if you want to get deeper while keeping the natural roll.
